1. Albaloo Polo

    Today I finally made my first Albaloo Polo (Persian sour cherry rice with chicken). I always wanted to try to make this dish but I was nervous the rice would turn out too soft and sticky ( or shefteh as persians would call it). After consulting over the phone with my grandma I finally set out to try my luck. Turns out it was quite easy, the hardest part I’d say is pitting the fresh sour cherries. Luckily I had prepared a batch over the summer and saved it in the freezer so all I had to do was defrost it and make the rice and chicken. 

    If I dare say so myself, it was delicious. :)
